Who We Are
We are a God-focused, Gospel driven congregation which pursues unity with one another as we submit ourselves to God’s word.
Our History
The congregation of Living Hope first met for Sunday School and Sunday Worship on September 4, 1994 in the Princess Theater in downtown Hopkinsville with a total of 68 in attendance. The next Sunday, it was decided by vote that a church would be started and continue to meet at the theater until a suitable building was found.
Several weeks passed before Living Hope's first permanent home was found on North Main. It was a modest building, and eventually Living Hope outgrew it. The members decided that it was time to build a new building and purchased a lot next to the bypass, which was still being built at the time. Living Hope's Main Campus can still be found there at 6305 Eagle Way.
In the years since Living Hope first came together in the Princess theater we have seen disciples being made, pastors being sent out, churches being planted in America and beyond, and the gospel being proclaimed all over the world. We pray we see more over the coming years because at Living Hope, our mission is the great commission.

A Second Campus
In late August of 2022 Living Hope and Calvary Memorial Baptist Church began discussions about a possible partnership in the gospel. After weeks of praying and planning, God has united the hearts of these two churches and brought us together as one. In the middle of September 2022 both Living Hope and Calvary Memorial voted unanimously to combine as one church in two campuses.
Living Hope Calvary Memorial Campus meets for worship at 9:15 am, with Sunday school at 10:45, and Living Hope Eagle Way Campus meets for Sunday school at 9:15 am, with the worship service at 10:45 am. Since combining we are seeing more and more excitement at both campuses as God is continuing to bring in brothers and sisters to partner in the gospel, and we are seeing many people come to trust in Christ.
Since then, the Lord has grown the Calvary Campus. We hope you will catch the excitement and join us in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ: that He has lived perfectly and died sacrificially to pay for sins and risen victoriously, so that anyone who would turn from their sins and trust in Jesus could be saved! After all, this is what Living Hope is about! Our Mission is the Great Commission!
